Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to deliver great service and food with a smile. You will handle orders, prepare drinks and treats, and assist with cooking and cleaning duties in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and able to maintain Sonic’s uniform and hygiene standards. No prior experience required, training provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Willingness to uphold Sonic uniform and hygiene standards
• General knowledge/experience in food service or retail settings preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate change quickly
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm
• Packaging all menu items and checking for quality and consistency
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats
• Preparing food orders, grilling, frying, and drive-thru duties if applicable
• Cleaning the drive-in locations and maintaining sanitation
