Job summary

Bay CSS in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Part-time Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team for overnight shifts Friday and Saturday from 11pm to 7am. The DSP will assist individuals with disabilities, promote safety, and support independence in a community-based residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor is important.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs is required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and car insurance are required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Willingness to complete all trainings as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in personal care and daily living tasks during the overnight shift.
• Support community integration by facilitating participation in activities and events.
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents.
• Document observations, progress, and any incidents as per agency protocols.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals throughout the night.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
• Availability to work Friday and Saturday overnight shifts 11pm to 7am.
