What You'll Do as a Residential Care Provider
- Provide personalized in-home care to seniors and individuals in need
- Monitor client health and report any changes to prevent hospital re-admissions
- Create a safe and nurturing home environment
- Engage clients in enriching activities to promote social connection
- Build strong relationships with clients and families
- Complete care tasks and documentation accurately and on time
- Follow individualized care plans and professional guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
- Clean criminal record with no felony or misdemeanor convictions involving violence, theft, fraud, or abuse, verified through South Carolina SLED background check
- One year of experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill individuals (full/part-time); CNA/HHA/PCA license or experience is a plus
- Proof of current TB testing
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable, mature, compassionate, punctual, and dependable attitude
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance if transporting clients
- Experience with WellSky is a plus but not required
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen
Daily Duties May Vary Based on Client’s Needs
- Personalized Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation
- Medication Reminder: Provide timely medication reminders and report discrepancies
- Meal Planning and Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals meeting dietary needs
- Light Housekeeping: Perform laundry and cleaning tasks
- Fall Prevention: Identify and mitigate fall hazards
- Rehospitalization Prevention: Monitor health and report changes
- Life Enrichment and Socialization: Engage clients in activities to promote well-being
- Punctuality and Reliability: Be dependable and timely
- Communication: Document and report client condition changes
Job Expectations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with physical needs
- Reliable transportation and serving clients in Tega Cay, Lake Wylie, Fort Mill, and Rock Hill

Pay Rate
$14 to $17 per hour
