Overnight Remote Acute Care Psychiatrist

Position Overview

Array Behavioral Care, the nation's leading virtual psychiatry and therapy provider, is seeking an overnight specialist, 100% virtual Psychiatrist, to deliver measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states. You will work remotely, collaborating with onsite professionals to assess and treat individuals experiencing mental health crises, including in emergency departments, hospital floors, or crisis stabilization units.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in crisis across multiple emergency rooms, hospital floors, and psychiatric programs, determining appropriate levels of care.
• Receive support from our 24/7 access center to triage cases and ensure successful treatment.
• Implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medications for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams using a team-based care approach.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.
• Unrestricted, independent medical license.
• Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups, including acute crisis stabilization.
• Proficiency with multiple EMRs and telehealth technology.
• Strong communication skills and cultural competence.

Position Details

• Shift timings: overnight shifts between 12:00 am and 6:00 am EST, any day of the week.
• 100% remote with a private, confidential workspace required.
• Support for obtaining additional state licensure and DEA registration, with costs covered by Array.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $150 - $195, based on experience and qualifications.
