Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to accurately receive freight, stock shelves, and organize merchandise and top stock. You’ll unload deliveries, handle equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts, and keep your area clean and safe for daily operations.

This role is physically active and may include mornings, evenings, or overnight shifts. The emphasis is on safe lifting, teamwork, and customer service as part of a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience operating forklift or power equipment preferred.
• Experience in warehouse stocking/inventory handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and providing support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners and other tools as needed.
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
• Additional duties may include using the Orders App to pick and stage deliveries, loading orders, and communicating with customers.
