Job Description

The Department of Radiology of the Mount Sinai Health System is recruiting 3 additional radiologists for our expanding Emergency/Overnight Radiology service. You will join a team of 9 FTEs as we expand to 12 FTEs. Our hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art radiography, ultrasound, and CT, and have dedicated residency and fellowship programs. Candidates should have a strong background in general radiology, including neuroradiology and body imaging.

Responsibilities

• 1 week on, 2 weeks off on average, with flexible scheduling for remote shifts. Max 8-hour shifts.
• Coverage across 6 hospitals in the Mount Sinai Health System, with 4 attendings per evening.
• Supervision of residents who prelim most studies.
• Reading CT, XR, and US. No Level 1 trauma, mammography, nuclear medicine, or procedures. Occasional MRI checks for emergent findings; MRIs do not require signing.
• Use of unified PACS at all locations with strong IT support.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited program.

Compensation ranges from $460K to $510K, excluding bonuses, incentives, and benefits.

Salary Disclosure

The salary range complies with NYC law. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialties, productivity, and organizational needs, and may fall outside the listed range. This range is for full-time employment and excludes bonuses and benefits.
