Job summary

ERC Pathlight in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time overnight shifts (6:00pm-6:30am) at our adult IP facility. The RN will provide coordinated medical and clinical nursing care within the ERC Pathlight system, partnering with an interdisciplinary team to deliver a consistent therapeutic milieu for all patients.

The role requires an active CO RN license and BLS certification, with ability to communicate effectively and remain calm in stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse License in state position is held (Required)
• Basic Life Support certification (Required)
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing (Required)
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations (Required)
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (Required)
• Colorado RCCF policy requirement for age guidance (see notice in listing)

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of nursing services including assessment, care planning, administering treatment, and evaluating patient response
• Conducts initial intake assessment and discharge education
• Places, receives, and completes provider orders per ERCP policy
• Administers medications via multiple routes per policy
• Performs phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testing
• Maintains IV access and enters feeding tubes as needed
• Documents care in EMR and supervises licensed staff
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plan
• Participates in team meetings and reports patient progress
• Responds to emergencies until EMS arrives
