Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma; become registered within a year from eligible hours.
• Two years in health care-related experience preferred; sleep tech program completed.
• Minimum six months of sleep trainee experience with documented competencies.
• Pediatrics exposure requirement noted (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and conduct overnight polysomnograms (PSG) under supervision.
• Verify patient identity, collect documents and obtain consent for the study.
• Monitor safety and respond to respiratory/medical events; assist physician as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentors; support learning environment.
• Educate patients about the study being performed.
