Job summary

Pacific Quest on Hawaii Island seeks an Overnight Program Guide to help ensure resident safety and provide nighttime supervision and supportive care in a structured, nature-based setting. This role involves housekeeping, administrative tasks, transport assistance, and de-escalation support, with 12-hour shifts and mandatory trainings.

A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are required, with ongoing background checks.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required (in-person)
• CPI-Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required
• Experience with at-risk populations preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a team and grow professionally
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Age 21+ to meet insurance requirements
• Must pass prehire and ongoing background checks and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents overnight and during waking hours as directed
• Maintain safety policies and confidentiality
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform administrative duties and documentation of incidents
• Drive company vehicles in emergencies and for transports
• Be flexible for various shifts and alternate worksites
• Provide de-escalation and boundary setting with residents
• Participate in monthly trainings and reviews
