Your Role

As an Overnight Production Assistant Technician, you will assist in the seamless operation of bag machines, ensuring flawless production quality. Your key responsibilities encompass aiding the operator with the management and upkeep of machines that cut, fold, print, and seal materials into finished bags.

Core Responsibilities

• Guide materials through machine components like guides, cutters, and sealers
• Monitor and optimize machine settings to achieve superior product quality
• Collaborate in installing material rolls, supported by hoist equipment
• Lead by instructing Bag Inspectors and aiding quality assurance
• Diagnose, rectify machine issues promptly to maintain efficiency
• Perform essential routine maintenance tasks to uphold operational standards
• Communicate seamlessly across shifts to ensure continuity
• Adhere stringently to GMP and SQF standards

Workplace Environment and Requirements

Our operation primarily occurs in a climate-controlled setting that minimizes risks. While there may be exposure to manufacturing conditions such as high noise levels or hot/humid environments in summer months, the overall safety and health standards are firmly upheld. Protective gear is required on the floor.

Physical Aspect: Regular activities include standing, walking, and handling standard office equipment.
