Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta in Marietta, GA is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will enter and process prescriptions, communicate with customers, and support fast-paced dispensing operations.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, state licensure, and a national certification (PTCB preferred). The position offers benefits, opportunities for growth, and a shift including overnights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and promptly.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage per prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and route to appropriate team.
• Complete prescriptions within regular shift.
• Interact with doctors' offices for refills and follow-up.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy system).
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order profiling as needed.
• Learn and maintain cycle to meet delivery deadlines and renewals.
• Other duties as needed.
