Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Current CT Pharmacist license or eligible within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work of pharmacy staff to ensure safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of drugs.
• Optimizes drug therapy to maximize positive patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness.
• Provides drug information and liaison support to the Health Care Team for rapid and effective patient care.
• Documents interventions and outcomes for quality improvement.
• May serve as charge pharmacist when required.
