Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• No major driving violations within the past 5 years.
• Comfortable driving for extended periods and at night.
• Ability to read and follow written post orders.
• Ability to complete routine written reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle while conducting scheduled patrols.
• Drive through assigned areas and monitor conditions during the shift.
• Perform routine checks of designated areas, access points and surroundings.
• Maintain an alert and visible security presence.
• Watch for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, damage or hazards.
• Follow all post orders and assignment instructions.
• Read and follow written post orders consistently.
• Record observations accurately and promptly.
• Communicate information during shift changes and with leadership as needed.
• Complete routine activity reports and documentation.
