Job summary

Interport is seeking an Overnight Gate Operator (10 PM to 6:30 AM) in Newark, NJ to join our Secure Parking team. This full-time clerical role offers hourly compensation of $18.00 to $20.00 and requires strong customer service skills.

As the primary contact for parking customers, you will answer inquiries, assist with reservations, process changes, and coordinate with operations. You will maintain accurate CRM records and help ensure safe, efficient services for freight customers across our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within transportation, parking, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding parking services, reservations, billing, and policies.
• Assist customers in making, modifying, or canceling parking reservations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying root causes and coordinating with internal departments to provide timely solutions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the company’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with parking operations and management teams to communicate customer needs and improve service delivery.
