Job summary

You will assess calls, apply Paramedic procedures with essential equipment, lead scenes when needed, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaboration with public safety staff is essential to deliver high-quality EMS locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Paramedic license and NREMT-Paramedic certification required.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meet policy.
• BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• Successful completion of physical agility test.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess calls to determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to inform care.
• Lead scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
