Job description

We are hiring for our overnight dishwasher/packing team. A&J King Artisan Bakers is looking for a combination overnight delivery packer and dishwasher to work at our production facility in Salem. We're a family-owned, award-winning bakery with 19 years of experience, seeking reliable third-shift help. This position is ideal for night owls and those seeking off-hours employment.

Job Requirements:

• Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking individuals who work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Proficient in spoken English.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Job Duties:

1. Assist in packing, consolidating, and organizing products for delivery.
2. Slice breads and package products for wholesale.
3. Wash, rinse, and sanitize baking pans, small ware, and equipment.
4. Maintain cleanliness by tidying up, sweeping, and mopping at the end of shifts.

Work Schedule:

• Three shifts per week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
• Potential to cover additional shifts as needed.
• Overnight hours from 10pm to approximately 4:30am or 6am, with some shifts ending earlier.
• Expected weekly hours: 18-21 hours.

Compensation and Benefits:

Employees receive a base wage not less than minimum wage, plus an average bonus of $3.50 per hour, which varies with bakery activity. For example, a $16/hour wage could total around $19.50/hour with bonuses. More information is available on our website:
