Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant for Jackson North Medical Center. This full-time role covers overnights with rotating weekends, delivering high-quality cleaning to create a safe perioperative environment for patients and staff.

No prior experience is required, and comprehensive training is provided. You will follow hospital policies on cleaning protocols, waste disposal, linen distribution, and inter-department communication, with additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain specified areas within the Perioperative Suites. Follow hospital regulations/policies regarding cleaning, biohazard waste disposal, linen distribution, restocking and communication with ancillary departments as needed.
• May be called to assist in an OR suite with limited patient care, i.e., assisting with moving, transporting, or aiding the RN Circulator with limited patient contact.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
