Job summary

Sittercity is seeking an experienced overnight newborn nanny in Chicago for a 4-week-old baby. Start around Nov. 1, with care 2 nights per week ( Sundays and Wednesdays) from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Duties include bottle feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing the baby back to sleep, and washing/prepping bottles. Infant CPR certification, recent newborn references, non-smoking, and comfort with pets are strongly preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced overnight newborn nanny starting around Nov. 1 for our 4-week-old baby in Chicago. We need care 2 nights per week, ideally Sundays and Wednesdays, approximately 11 PM–7 AM. Duties include bottle feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing the baby back to sleep, and washing/preparing bottles as needed. Strong newborn experience, especially with babies under 3 months, is important. Infant CPR certification, recent newborn references, non-smoking, and comfort with pets are strongly preferred. We have a friendly golden retriever and two cats. This is a short-term position for about 4 weeks, with possible extension if it is a good fit.
