Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Microbiology Lab Assistant for an overnight Sunday to Wednesday shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The position offers a pay range of $20–$22 per hour based on experience and requires a minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities include instrument maintenance, inventory management, sample processing, and supporting staff in a fast-paced clinical lab environment. Training for new personnel and data entry tasks are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with team members.
• Demonstrated accuracy, speed, and reliability in lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Record daily/weekly maintenance for all instruments.
• Maintain inventory of media, reagents, and supplies.
• Prepare weekly media orders for vendors and rotate media by expiration date.
• Orient and train new or less experienced personnel; assist in troubleshooting and data entry.
