Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Northborough, MA is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to lead overnight merchandising, ensure product availability, and maintain GOLD standards for the club.

You’ll supervise overnight team, coach staff, and assist with forklift operations, inventory controls, and safety compliance as part of club operations.

This role requires open shifts, 18+ and forklift certification; BJ’s provides weekly pay, benefits, PTO, 401(k) and stock plan.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Email) required.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Open shift availability.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating and merchandising experience preferred.
• High school diploma or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight merchandising execution with purpose: collaborate with Merchandising lead to drive overnight tasks.
• Support execution of merchandising tasks and staffing for forklift operators and teams.
• Oversee overnight readiness: display setup, pallet movement, and floor resets for morning operations.
• Maintain product presentation and availability across the sales floor before opening.
• Follow corporate merchandising plans and timing for resets and promotions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance sales based on conditions and feedback.
