Meijer in Dewitt, MI is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked with a variety of grocery items and to support customer service. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires comfort with basic technology, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Overnight shifts and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.
• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
