Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Medication Assistant for Assisted Living with NOC shifts. In this full-time role, you will maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs, document in the Medication Assistance Record, and support memory care residents with daily activities.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, meet state education requirements, and ideally hold CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Experience working with an elderly population (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in assisted living and potentially memory care with activities of daily living, take vital signs, provide first aid, wound care, and communicate with outside health‑care professionals as necessary.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
