MorningStar Senior Living in Wheat Ridge, CO seeks a Med Tech to administer and document medications under the Wellness Director, ensuring compliance with regulations. Duties include ordering meds, documenting administration, and monitoring residents’ responses in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• State-approval Medication Administration training completed
• QMAP in CO as required by regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer experience in assisted living or memory care with good work record
• Must read/write English and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per physician orders under Wellness Director direction.
• Order meds from pharmacy 7 days before running out to ensure availability.
• Document medications after administration with date and initials.
• Observe and report reactions/side effects to licensed nurse.
• Take and record vital signs before meds when needed.
• Administer PRN medications per physician order.
• Report medication errors to Wellness Director immediately.
• Assist with care plan development and resident care tasks.
