Job summary

TruCare Community is seeking Overnight Med Tech for Bay Breeze Care ARF in Long Beach, CA. This full-time role offers opportunities to train, grow, and earn a loyalty bonus while providing compassionate, professional medication support to residents in a sensitive care setting.

Positions include NOC and PM shifts with competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a supportive team. Walk-in inquiries welcome at the Human Resources Office in Bellflower.

Qualifications

• Pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance as mandated by licensing.
• Pass pre-employment physical and TB test clearance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the basic needs of an ARF (Adult Residential Facility).
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Administer medication to residents in accordance to Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code.
• Order and reorder medication for residents, following physician instructions.
• Monitor residents' medication administration records and report errors to the Lead Medication Technician or Administrator.
• Progressive documentation and communication with physicians and medical professionals.
• Schedule resident doctor’s appointments.
• Promote resident engagement and independence while reducing pain.
• Maintain composure during emergencies and ensure a safe work environment.
