Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, including The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to lead the maintenance division and ensure all systems operate reliably.

You will manage engineering operations, oversee preventive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors while focusing on guest satisfaction and asset protection.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a similar hospitality maintenance role.
• Ability to read HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
• Must have universal refrigerant license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest maintenance requests and resolves their needs.
• Responsible for the hiring of new employees and promotes staff in Property Operations.
• Trains, motivates and supports subordinate staff to ensure quality service.
• Counsels, coaches, disciplines, and documents performance of staff.
• Directs and supervises the staff in Property Operations; sets work schedules.
• Participates in budget analysis and capital plans.
• Develops and monitors engineering supplies, parts, inventories, and PO system.
• Coordinates with outside contractors.
• Ensures correct use of EMS and Life Safety Systems; training will be provided.

This individual assists with providing oversight of the maintenance department and is responsible for ensuring the working order of all mechanical equipment as well as repair and maintenance of the property. The primary focus is on engineering operations, including maintenance, repair of hotel property, outside grounds, hotel equipment, preventative maintenance, and asset protection. This person will organize staff and contractors, and oversee the completion of the maintenance needs.
