Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Mechanicsburg is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

This full-time overnight position offers hourly pay of $40 and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include providing skilled nursing care per orders and assessing patients to detect physiologic and psychosocial changes, while documenting findings accurately and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
