Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Concord, NC is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the overnight shift. This full-time role provides direct nursing care to adults in treatment for substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions, administering medications and supporting detox protocols.

You will perform nursing assessments, complete COWS and CIWA, monitor clients overnight, educate on medications, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure high‑quality, person-centered

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN license in North Carolina.
• CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification required.
• Minimum one year nursing experience preferred, especially in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments for new admissions and ongoing care.
• Administer medications per physician orders and program protocols.
• Implement and monitor detoxification procedures per clinical guidelines.
• Perform COWS and CIWA assessments as required.
• Monitor overnight patients and report changes to medical staff.
• Provide medication education and support to clients.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
