Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an experienced Overnight Loss Prevention (Security) Officer to join our team. The resort will feature 127,000 sq ft of event space, 13 dining outlets, a luxurious spa, and a vibrant entertainment district, including two championship 18-hole golf courses and a short course, providing excellent options for guests and the local community.

This team member will ensure the safety and tranquility of our guests and staff, enforce hotel policies, and document incidents accurately. Prepare incident and accident reports as specified by the Director of Loss Prevention.

Responsibilities

1. Patrol hotel property to ensure safety and protect assets.
2. Assist guests and staff with safety and security concerns.
3. Investigate crimes against property and persons.
4. Assist sick or injured guests and staff, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
5. Conduct investigations, write reports, monitor progress, and follow up with involved parties.
6. Maintain accurate records, including camera monitoring and activity logs.
7. Distribute visitor badges and monitor access points.
8. Perform bag checks for departing staff and guests.
9. Escort and assist special guests with privacy needs.
10. Handle sensitive issues with confidentiality.
11. Assist in safety checks of alarm and fire systems, monitor building access points.
12. Lead or assist during emergency situations, guiding guests and staff to safety.
13. Identify and report unsafe conditions during patrols.
14. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications

1. Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per shift.
2. Effective communication skills via phone, email, radio.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. Ability to reach various hotel areas quickly.
5. First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
6. Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
7. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
8. Flexible schedule including day, evening, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
