Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a full-time LPN for the overnight shift in our Psychiatric unit. You will provide safe, therapeutic patient care under RN supervision, contributing to a supportive healing environment for individuals in need.

New grads are welcome to apply; current LPN licensure and BLS are required. A Level One Fingerprint Card is required, CPI certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and some experience in acute psychiatric inpatient settings is preferred.

• Collaborate with RNs and other disciplines to implement care plans.

Job Qualifications:

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

• Observe, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions promptly and accurately
• Monitor safety within the therapeutic milieu and actively assist in managing crisis situations, including assaultive patients
• Assist in the admission process, including comprehensive data collection and orienting new patients to the unit and program
• Document relevant patient interactions, collected data, and responses to therapeutic interventions in medical records
• Collaborate closely with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate individualized care plans

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
