Job summary

Stay Alert Safety Services, an AWP Safety Company, is seeking a Lane Closure Specialist to perform lane closures on state highways and other roadways, directing traffic for workers or survey crews. You will work independently or as part of a crew to keep work zones safe.

The role offers overtime opportunities, ongoing training, and potential advancement to leadership positions. Starting pay is competitive at $17.50–$18.25 per hour, with benefits available after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Hours vary; overnight shifts 5–6pm start, 10–14 hour shifts.
• Exposure to fumes and airborne particles.
• Extreme conditions at job sites including heat, cold, humidity.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safe work zones with proper equipment.
• Set up and take down lane closures to protect workers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety of all on site.
• Manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Deliver exceptional service and protection to clients.
