Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking an Automation Scientist to support high‑throughput, automated liquid‑handling operations on a dedicated second‑shift schedule at our San Diego client site. This role will operate, load, monitor, and maintain automated systems overnight to increase capacity and throughput.

• BS in life sciences, chemistry, engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated liquid-handling platforms overnight to handle overflow requests.
• Load, set up, and start robotic runs; maintain system readiness for first shift.
• Perform QC checks on liquid-handling systems to ensure sample integrity.
• Maintain meticulous run and QC records in client-provided systems.
• Transport samples between storage, other robots, and downstream instruments.
