Velociti Services is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to lead a cleaning team and ensure work areas meet client standards. You will respond to client inquiries, coordinate tasks, and manage schedules with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has prior cleaning supervision experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train staff while maintaining a positive work environment. This role requires physical stamina and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and be on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning staff and monitor performance against cleanliness standards.
• Communicate client requests to the cleaning team.
• Schedule and coordinate cleaning tasks and inspections.
• Maintain inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Resolve disputes and provide training for new employees.
• Communicate with management and address client feedback.
• Perform duties as needed to support operations.

Sunday - Thusday 10:30pm - 7am

A Janitorial Supervisor at Velociti Services is responsible for leading a team of cleaners in their cleaning tasks. The Janitorial Supervisor is to ensure all work areas are cleaned by cleaners to Velociti Services and client standards, be responsive to clients' enquiries and specific requests, and communicate clients' cleaning requests to their teams.

Duties/Responsibilities

• The supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior whilst on duty


• Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening


• Must have good interpersonal attributes. That is to say, the supervisor must be someone that gets along easily with people (easily approachable)


• Must be outstanding when it comes to organization and coordination of both humans and their activities


• Ensuring that a best-in-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the worksite / building


• Reviewing work schedules


• Keeping track of inventory, ordering of cleaning materials / supplies and equipment


• Monitoring of all cleaning activities


• Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures


• Quickly resolving disputes between staff


• Training new employees


• Filling in / General Cleaning as needed


• Communicating with management


• Resolve any complaints and conflicts


• Discipline and reward employees


• Maintaining good relationships with customer


• Conduct worksite inspections


• Other duties as assigned or requested

Physical Requirements

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds


• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
