Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a dependable Lead Janitorial Specialist to support and oversee nightly cleaning operations at our facilities. This role serves as a key point of contact for management, ensuring high cleaning standards while coordinating the shift’s activities.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in commercial cleaning, leadership experience, and a proactive, organized approach. Hours are Monday–Thursday 5:30pm–2:00am and Friday 5:00pm–1:30am, with overnight shifts and opportunities to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of commercial cleaning with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide general operational support, assisting Managers with daily cleaning and facility tasks
• Distribute janitorial supplies to closets and monitor inventory levels; notify management when restocking is needed
• Receive, verify, and organize incoming supply deliveries; maintain clean and orderly storage areas
• Operate automatic floor-scrubbing equipment to clean and maintain flooring throughout the property
• Address minor cleaning needs such as stain removal, supply replacement, and special cleaning projects
• Conduct quality assurance inspections; identify deficiencies, communicate feedback to staff, and ensure corrections are completed
• Report facility or cleanliness issues to management, including maintenance concerns or areas falling below standards
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas including floors, restrooms, common areas, furniture, and fixtures
• In the absence of a Manager, act in a supervisory capacity by coordinating workflow and guiding team members during the shift
• Support trash removal, restroom servicing, dusting, and general cleaning duties as needed
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned to ensure all work is completed according to company standards
