Job summary

You will handle routine changes, troubleshoot basic issues, assist with backups, patches, and monitoring, and help integrate new technologies under guidance. Requires HS Diploma/GED, 0-2 years IT experience, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software or networking problems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provides Level 1 troubleshooting for production and development systems (remote and onsite).
• Implements routine changes on production systems per guidance from Administrators.
• Supports integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.
• Resolves Level 1 incidents affecting operation/availability of production systems.
• Deploys standard repeatable build outs.
• Supports patching and maintenance of servers, databases, networks, storage, and software solutions.
• Assists with routine backup strategies and disaster recovery tests.
• Monitors system performance and escalates issues to senior team members.
