Job Description

An Inventory Specialist works under the supervision of the General Manager and is responsible for HUB operations, including various duties as assigned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders timely.
• Coordinate reordering with the store if HUB orders cannot be filled.
• Complete all parts department cycle counts and OUTS in collaboration with store management.
• Assist in completing plan-o-grams and stocking parts in the department.
• Handle callbacks and MAXI changes as directed.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in training and store meetings.
• Train and develop team members as directed by the General Manager.
• Coordinate product delivery, inventory management, and record keeping.
• Maintain security, customer service, and record policies.

Key Holder Responsibilities:

• Assign tasks, ensure safety, and perform open/close duties.

To succeed, individuals must perform essential duties satisfactorily, with accommodations available for disabilities.

• Effective communication and basic math skills are required.
• Prior retail experience, including merchandising and inventory management, is preferred.
• Forklift operation certification is a plus.
• Professional appearance and customer interaction skills are necessary.
• Stable employment history is desirable.
• Flexibility to work short notice, nights, and weekends is required.
• Report violations of policies promptly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Constant standing/walking, frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Visual acuity, manual dexterity, and physical mobility are necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily indoor (95%), with safety precautions for battery handling and equipment operation.
