Job summary

Boston Retail Solutions in Westmont, IL is seeking Overnight Installers to execute finished assemblies of temporary store construction enclosures and graphics packages. You will install modular barricades panels, large format graphics, and store fixtures with precision to deliver quality and on-time results.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of power tools.
• Experienced in field-based installations
• Familiarity with common hand tools
• Physical ability to climb and work on ladders.
• Knowledge of scissor lift and man lifts preferable
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record is necessary.
• 2+ years of construction or carpentry related experience is helpful.
• Availability to work overtime as needed
• Occasional travel within a defined territory
• This position requires you to operate a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 lbs. and is subject to DOT regulations; DOT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Installation of modular storefront construction barricades at various locations within a territory
• Installation of large format graphics (training provided)
• Maintain company provided tools
• Report project information at completion
• Drive to job sites in BRS fleet vehicles and keep the truck organized
• Maintain tools, equipment and apparel in good working order
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE as required
• Maintain professional on-site and off-site behavior

We are currently seeking Overnight Installers at our Westmont, IL (Chicago)location.

Role:

Overnight Installers are accountable for the execution of a finished assembly of temporary store construction enclosures and graphics packages. This role is responsible for installation of modular construction barricades panels, non-electrical retail signs, and hanging store fixtures or graphics with precision and care, ensuring that Boston Retail Solutions customers receive a high level of quality, service, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of modular storefront construction barricades at various locations throughout a defined territory
• Installation of large format graphics (training provided)
• Maintain company provided tools
• Accurately report project information at time of completion
• Drives to and from job sites in BRS fleet vehicles while maintaining a clean and organized truck
• Responsible for maintaining a good working order for all BRS provided tools, equipment and apparel
• Follows appropriate safety guidelines and wear personal protection equipment as needed per jobsite requirements
• Ensures on-site, off-site behavior is professional while respecting traditional courtesy and good manners

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• This position requires you to operate a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 lbs. and is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As such, you will be required to successfully complete and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical). Employment in this role is contingent upon meeting these physical and medical standards; failure to obtain and maintain a valid DOT certification will result in immediate separation from employment with Boston Retail Solutions.
