Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Lafayette, IN, is seeking a full-time Overnights Inpatient Pharmacy Technician. The role supports the pharmacy team under pharmacist supervision, handling inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, and medication histories.

Schedule is 8:30pm–7am on a 7on/7off cycle. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, Indiana Tech license or in-training eligibility, and national certification within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Tech license or in-training eligibility is required.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification within one year of hire.
• ASHP/ACPE accredited program enrollment or graduation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, supports inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, processing of medications and supplies, specialty medications, and medication histories.
• Assists with medication processing including answering telephones, refills, and entering orders into the system.
• Delivers meds, maintains records, and assists in minimizing medication errors.
