Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert at our Edison, NJ store to deliver a friendly guest experience and support efficient store operations. You will greet guests, assist with locating products, and help ensure accurate pricing, signage and stock availability across General Merchandise areas.

The role emphasizes guest-first service, teamwork and adherence to safety policies, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a friendly, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver a great experience.
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment if certified when unloading freight or moving merchandise.
