Job summary

Lake Forest Senior Services at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our in-home care team. The overnight shift runs 5pm to 8am with an evening shift differential; every other weekend is required.

You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal prep; provide companionship; assist with medication reminders; perform light housekeeping and errands; and monitor safety while reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work every other weekend.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• No prior caregiving experience required.
• Compassionate and patient with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Help with light housekeeping and errands.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client.
