Job summary

Lake Forest Senior Services at Home is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to join our team. As an at-home caregiver, you will provide essential support and care to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

We offer FLEXIBLE HOURS with a requirement to work every other weekend. Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required, and a high school diploma or GED is necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Help with light housekeeping and errands.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to supervisors or healthcare providers.
