Job summary

Agape at Home in Oro Valley, AZ, is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in our community. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes.

Our mission is to connect compassionate caregivers with clients who need quality, reliable support. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. Weekly pay is offered, with day/night shifts and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health or senior care preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA, and patient monitoring.
• Ability to assist with mobility and lifting as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care including assistance with mobility and transferring using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and tidying of the home.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia, through patient observation and tailored activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.

We are looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in our community. Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, based upon knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. Paid weekly.

Current needs: Saddlebooke location. Day/Night shift. Shift differential offered

• Experience working with people with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist clients in physical mobility tasks.
• A compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding towards clients’ needs is crucial for success in this role.
