Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) in Williston, VT is seeking a skilled Hybrid ER/ICU Veterinary Technician to join our ECC team on day and swing shifts. This dynamic role combines fast-paced emergency care on the floor with ICU nursing in our dedicated unit.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CVT or LVt license preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years of veterinary hospital experience; emergency experience preferred.
• Must be a positive attitude and team player.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families.
• Perform triage and initiate critical interventions for emergent patients.
• Conduct basic examinations to assess patient stability.
• Execute nursing procedures, including CPR, phlebotomy, cystocentesis, labs, and CRI calculations.
• Administer and monitor sedation for minor procedures and anesthesia for emergencies.
• Provide ongoing care for ICU and isolation patients.
• Facilitate ICU admissions and discharges.
• Prepare treatment estimates and discuss financial commitments.
• Maintain accurate medical records per hospital protocols.
