Job summary

TownePlace Suites North Kingstown is seeking an overnight Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas and support the housekeeping team with supplies at 55 Gate Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks from the MOD, responding to guest requests, cleaning hotel exteriors and public areas, deep cleaning carpets and fixtures, stocking supplies, and assisting with room setups or changes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive list of assignments and prioritize items.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Check inventory of cleaning cart and add necessary supplies; transport cart to work areas.
• Clean and maintain exterior of hotel including sidewalks, entrances, and signage.
• Deep clean assigned areas (carpets, fixtures, windows, elevators).
• Dust and polish furniture; remove stains from walls and furnishings.
• Remove trash and used linens; transport to dumpster.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors.
• Deliver items to guest rooms on request from front desk.
• Ensure soiled linens are laundered and may operate washers/dryers.
• Clean guest rooms on occasion.
• Notify maintenance of needed repairs.
• Set up function/meeting rooms as needed.
• Move furniture and turn mattresses.
• Take found items to lost and found area.
• Provide support to room attendants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
