Fairlane Hotel in Nashville is seeking an Overnight Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team during evening and overnight shifts (3pm-11pm and 10pm-6am). The role focuses on keeping rooms and public areas clean and guest-ready while assisting Room Attendants and the Executive Housekeeper with daily priorities.

You will respond to guest requests, handle linen and supplies, report maintenance issues, and help maintain safety and confidentiality across the property.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Strip linen and trash from vacant/checked-out rooms to prepare for Room Attendants.
• Deliver housekeeping items (irons, ironing boards, hair dryers) to guest rooms on request.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting, room turns, and special requests to keep pace.
• Report lost and found items, maintenance issues, and room discrepancies.
• Clean and maintain hallways, storage rooms, closets, and all guest areas; restock closets.

OVERNIGHT HOUSEPERSON

Fairlane Hotel | Nashville, TN

Full-Time | Hourly | On-Property

Fairlane Hotel is seeking an Overnight Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and appearance throughout the hotel during evening and overnight shifts (3pm-11pm and 10pm - 6am).

This role responds to guest requests, strips and prepares vacant rooms, assists Room Attendants and the Executive Housekeeper with daily priorities, keeps public areas, storage closets, and guest floors guest-ready, and supports overnight hotel team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strip linen and trash from vacant/checkedout rooms to prepare for Room Attendants
• Deliver housekeeping items (irons, ironing boards, hair dryers) to guest rooms upon request
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting, room turns, and special requests to keep the floor on pace
• Report lost and found items, maintenance issues, and room discrepancies

Public Area & Deep Cleaning

• Clean and maintain hallways, storage rooms, closets, and all guest areas
• Perform deep cleaning, including shampooing carpets, washing windows, light fixtures, and guest elevators
• Restock housekeeping closets on each floor and replenish linen carts as needed

Daily Operations

• Receive assignments, keys, radio, and special guest requests at the start of shift
• Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools throughout the day
• Return radio and keys at the end of shift
• Follow all company safety, security, and confidentiality policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Preferred

• Experience supporting Room Attendants in a fastpaced, highoccupancy hotel
• Prior housekeeping or related experience

SCHEDULE

On-property, overnight position with varying schedules based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
