Job Summary:

The Overnight Houseman for Banquets plays a vital support role in ensuring banquet facilities are clean, organized, and properly set for the following day's events. This position is responsible for the breakdown, cleaning, and reset of all banquet spaces during overnight hours, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, staging, and audiovisual equipment.
• Clean and sanitize banquet rooms, public event spaces, and storage areas.
• Safely transport and store banquet equipment, furniture, and supplies.
• Replenish banquet supplies and maintain storage areas in a clean, organized state.
• Assist in minor maintenance tasks such as tightening screws, moving furnishings, and reporting damages.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and lifting techniques.
• Report any lost and found items to the appropriate department.
• Respond to any last-minute setup changes or special requests as needed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times, even during overnight hours with limited supervision.
