$500 Sign-On Bonus

Inspire of McClelland Home is seeking a full-time housekeeper. We are a 70-bed adult home facility. The working hours are Sunday to Saturday, 12am to 8am. We encourage applicants to send their resumes and call 845-831-1909 extension 305.

Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning common area bathrooms and showers daily.
2. Cleaning the lobby, hallways, and activity room.
3. Vacuuming all carpeted areas throughout the facility.
4. Sweeping and mopping the dining room after each meal.
5. Collecting and disposing of all trash from resident room wastebaskets and facility trash cans.
6. Collecting all dirty clothes and linens as per laundry schedule.
7. Following procedures in collaboration with staff across all shifts.
8. Inspecting assigned bedrooms for new admissions, with 24 hours' notice, to ensure:

Bedroom area:

• A made bed, bedside drawer, and one chair (plus a desk in private rooms).
• Clean closet with adequate clothes hangers.

Toilet area:

• Providing clean towels and new soap bars.
• Ensuring tissues, mug, and toilet paper are available by the bedside drawer.
• Checking the condition of shower curtains, shower chair, and shower mat.

Conduct monthly housekeeping inventory checks and place supply orders. Assist the dietary and other departments as needed. Perform additional responsibilities assigned by administration when necessary.
