Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team in Portland. You will assist Room Attendants with linens, deliver supplies, and help with laundry and public areas. The role involves heavy lifting, standing, and working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A background in housekeeping and English fluency are preferred. Join a team that emphasizes Sonesta Service, safety, and guest satisfaction across a large portfolio of properties.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the Sonesta Service standards with guests and clients.
• Work with Room Attendants to move linens, supplies and heavy items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors; remove trash; mop and vacuum floors.
• Respond to guests' requests in a timely manner and assist with special requests.
• Clean designated public areas and restrooms and report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Assist with laundry operations; fold and store linens; monitor supplies.
• Promote teamwork and communicate with other shifts and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
