The Safety and Security Officer will maintain radio contact with Front Desk, manage access to secured areas, and respond to medical and security incidents. Must hold an active guard card and be able to work long hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Must possess an active guard card.
• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and employee information.
• Compliance with hotel standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises and monitor for safety and security hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents with appropriate action.
• Maintain radio communications with Front Desk and security staff.
• Check IDs, control access to secured areas, and assist guests to rooms.
• Complete incident reports clearly and promptly.
• Monitor surveillance cameras as applicable.
• Assist guests during medical emergencies and security incidents.
• Provide escorts and support as required by hotel policy.
