Job summary

Stonebridge seeks a Maintenance Attendant at JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown to support hotel maintenance operations, ensuring facilities and equipment function properly and safety standards are met. You will perform routine tasks, assist with preventative maintenance, and help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires basic knowledge of maintenance systems, ability to perform minor repairs, and strong problem-solving with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance systems (refrigeration, heating, plumbing, electrical).
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Familiarity with safety procedures including lockout-tagout.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks (refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C, hotel equipment).
• Monitor energy usage and report issues.
• Complete maintenance projects on time per specs.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures including lockout-tagout.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Log findings from equipment checks.
• Report safety and security concerns to Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty.
• Maintain key inventory and ensure security procedures.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
• Participate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces and equipment.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized.
