Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group seeks a Third Shift Engineer to maintain the hotel's physical condition, handle overnight maintenance requests, and perform preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, drywall repair, HVAC, electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Good communication skills and a guest-service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to housekeeping maintenance calls and guest requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas.
• Paint touch-ups and drywall repairs in guest rooms and public spaces during overnight hours.
• Inspect areas for maintenance, safety, and appearance concerns and report deficiencies.
• Maintain shift logs, coordinate with front desk and housekeeping, and ensure guest privacy.
